On Law & Order: Special Victims Unit a man raped a young lady.

But she is unsure of what really happened that night, but she does know he did it.

But since there was not enough evidence NYPD  had to basically stop the investigation.

Detective Rollins believed her and went undercover to prove the man was a rapist, but because of no backup from the department she could not make an arrest, and the man lawyer was present at the scene.

They went to trial and he was found not guilty by the jury and was freed to go.

But Rollins was recording the attack and the video was leaked out to a news station which exposed what really happened and proven he was a rapist right along with his friend.

So, there were two suspects.
